False ceiling is the ceiling created under the main slab or the floor, using any material like Gypsum sheet,Plaster of paris (pop), Thermocol,wood ply or anything like that. Repair works In most cases you can remove the damaged area and replace it with a matching design from a local lumber yard or place like Lowe's or home Depot. Make sure to make needed repairs to ceiling above and if from roof leak then of course repair roof. If damaged from beneath then it is a much smaller project. These ceilings are usually made of some type of square material but of course that isn't always the case. You may be able to cut out the damaged tiles and replace them with glue back replacement tiles. Just be careful and don't damage a joining tile. The idea is to not have fasteners showing.
