A Building consultant is a professional who carries out a varied number of general and specific tasks, varying in size and importance in the building industry, engaged by either party or their representative, those parties seeking a satisfactory outcomes or assistance in on the construction process, prior, during or after the event. Building consultants are qualified and expertise in a number of areas as listed or may call on associates where greater speciality is required. Building consultants are there to assist with building issues. Building consultants are professionals and who are subject to a code of practice which are generally set down by their related accredited body or membership.

Scope

Building Approval Works (City & Panchayat based): Approval Drawings are made for submitting to the concerned Government agency for approval and after the approval, they are used at the construction site. We currently prepare approval drawings for all types of Buildings (Residential and Commercials).

Site Visit includes study of land pattern, Access road width, road level vs natural ground level, soil type, boundary area demarcation, compass survey for directions etc. Site visit is necessary stepping stone towards perfect planning.

Architectural Drawings includes conceptual plan, floor plan, door & window schedule & furniture layout plans. It involves certain important considerations like wind directions, ventilation, Vaastu-sashtra, dimensions, standard room sizes, wall thickness, boundary line set backs, boundary line demarcations and general notes. It also involves critical details for working at site as well.

Structural Design & Detailing includes building design analysis, foundation design, staircase design, column. Beam and slab reinforcement schedule, center-line plan, slab reinforcement plan. Generally a Structural designer considers various load factors like dead load, live, earth quake and wind for finalising a Structural fit building plans with details of each members.

3D Exterior Works includes preparation of sketch model based on reference model. Basically an exterior 3D model provides a creative prospective to the looks a client desires and feel proud of. A typical 3D Views gives glimpse of various projections, roof extensions, pargola features, wall cladding, exterior paints color combination, gate, balcony railings and Boundary wall design etc. It also include sun shade version, day & night vision looks, planters choice etc. A prospective 3D View generates a huge fascination in mind of the customers.

Interior Designing includes prospective 3D view of interior components with kin detailing based on room type and size. Interior designs involves creation of various components like wall cladding, planters, partial partition, false ceiling, cabinet/ wardrobe, modular kitchen, blinds/curtains, modular jali, switch panels, cornice, GFRC pieces, TV Cabinet, Lights and last but not the least room wise color combination.

Virtual Reality Visualization includes integrating 3D Models in virtual reality and showcasing using VR lens. It enables viewers to make subjective changes as per requirement. It helps to create various choices in form of augmented reality.

BOQ, BBS & Estimation includes preparation of Bill of quantities, Bar Bending Schedule and item rate estimation of a building. This tabulated format eases the process of budgeting and finalising a project. Its an important tool to control the project price and following the same helps to freeze the materials usage and labor services of a project.

Project Management Consultancy includes preparation of work schedule, resource procurement and allocation, man power mobilisation planning, project tracking & monitoring and quality audits at site. PMC also integrates engineering supervision with building drawings. PMC helps in materialising cost planning, control and project time management
